DESCRIPTION
Inkscape is a program is a program open source for drawing vector graphics with capabilities similar to programs like Illustrator, Freehand or CorelDraw that uses the file format standardized by the W3C SVG. The main motivation of Inkscape is to provide the community an open source tool for drawing SVG comply fully with the standards XML, SVG and CSS2.
The supported SVG features include basic shapes, paths, text, alpha transformations, gradients, node editing, complex path operations, bitmap tracing images (based on program code Autotrace , etc.).
